We had booked a 2 double bed room in the motel building through Booked.net. When we arrived the women at the front desk asked if we needed two beds because she wanted to upgrade us to a two room king suite for the same price. It was excellent, so spacious, with a sitting room, a huge king bedroom, and a beautiful bathroom. There were only two bookings there that night and it was our lucky day! The staff was great and included in our rate of $79.00 was a free made to order breakfast. We had the entire dining room to ourselves. It was way cool and the staff is terrific!

I stayed here the night before I climbed Mt. Monadnock. It was ideal. Close to the mountain, clean, friendly with a great breakfast buffet. It was a nice start to a great mountain climb.

The Inn is located close to a lake and there are smaller units on the lake. The main Inn is old and charming and appears well maintained. We were in a separate building where banquet facilities are on the ground floor. This building was old and slightly creaky but the room we stayed in was roomy enough, clean but slight odor that older buildings have. We were there to see fall foliage and it appeared the Inn was more for summertime with only the main Inn open so I can't comment on advantages of summer visits. There is a 9-hole golf course and a beach on the lake--looks like it would be great for families staying in the lake accommodations. The walk to the lake is beautiful--only 5 minutes from the main Inn.
We arrived at 6:00 PM on a Sunday and there was no staff available--our keys were in an envelope on the desk. Later, there was a semi-emergency and the emergency number was not in service. I think someone should be on site if there are guests at the Inn--they certainly have the facilities for someone to stay there and make sure guests needs are met.

This hotel is a hidden gem tucked away in a tranquil location. The hotel's attention to detail and lovely tiled bathrooms create a cozy and comfortable atmosphere. I found the rooms to be clean and well-maintained, with a touch of modernity that made me feel at home. The breakfast included in our rate was delicious and provided a variety of options to start the day off right. Additionally, the hotel's private beach access to the lake is a real treat for outdoor enthusiasts like myself.
Everything was more than satisfactory during my stay.
