I had a wonderful experience enjoying delicious apps at the pub with great scallops wrapped in bacon and a delightful breakfast the next morning, making it a perfect spot for weekend city strolls through nearby Annett State Forest and the beautiful Cheshire Pond, which was just a short drive away.

The historic property features a lovely raised deck and beautiful gardens that create a serene atmosphere. Walking along quiet paths to the lake was a highlight of my stay. However, the room was disappointingly small, and issues like dusty surfaces and a dirty bathroom reflected poor housekeeping standards. Breakfast offered subpar options, which detracted from the overall experience.

I had a great time with my friends here! We enjoyed the beautiful walking paths and played at the stunning golf course. Breakfast was delicious, and the staff was super friendly. Make sure to check out Zeke's Grill while you're there for some great food.
